Using Voip technology one can make phone calls ,send messages to friends over the internet unlike the common landline telephone or the mobile phone .How is this useful? VoIP can turn a standard Internet connection into a way to place free phone calls. The practical upshot of this is that by using some of the free VoIP software that is available to make Internet phone calls, you're bypassing the phone company (and its charges) entirely.

this site allow you to send free sms to any of your friends, but unlike 160by2,way2sms,orfreesms8,ibibo that allow you to send free sms but there you need to register your mobile phone. In this site you dont need to register your phone thus actually concealing the senders identity .
